Meet Mikael
Mikael Sternberg

Mikael is in the driver’s seat of Kwintet, and is a practitioner of the management principles he preaches. Teamwork and visible leadership coupled with implementation and keeping promises are but a few of his values and beliefs. With many years’ experience as CEO in various international turnarounds and change settings, Mikael has taken Kwintet on a journey towards European leadership in professional wear. Always a transparent communicator, he takes the time to engage in dialogue and throws open his door at every opportunity.
Having launched the License to Win Strategy in January 2011, Mikael believes Kwintet has a bright future as we are gradually building a reputation for strong customer solutions – with local service on a global scale.

Born in 1965, joined Kwintet in July 2010, married to Pernille, three children.
Mikael is Danish and yet a global citizen, having previously lived with his family in both the UK and the US. He holds a Master’s degree from Copenhagen Business School and has taken postgraduate studies at Harvard Business School and Insead.
Formerly a tournament golf player, Mikael’s younger passion is marathon running – and is well on his way to completing the World Marathon Majors. So far, he has Berlin, Boston, New York and Chicago under his belt.
Highly fond of his Bragard Grand Chef jacket (a present from Gilles Bragard himself) and only worn on very special occasions.
